Request for Proposals for Network Vulnerability and Risk Assessment Services
The Universal Service Administrative Company ("USAC") is requesting proposals from organizations to perform NIST compliant vulnerability and risk assessment services of its major applications and support systems.
This engagement shall encompass all of USAC's major financial systems, several business unit program applications and the USAC general support system infrastructure. These applications and support systems are
variously located over four discreet locations in the Washington DC Metro area; the USAC headquarters in Washington, DC, our two data centers in Northern Virginia, and our managed IT vendor in Northern Virginia. This engagement's initial efforts will focus on USAC's overall security posture, our major financial systems and the USAC general support systems.
This support should begin on or about August 24, 2009 and be completed on or about November 30, 2009. This Request for Proposal ("RFP") describes the services requested and provides instructions on how to respond.
USAC reserves the right to post additional information concerning this procurement and modify the RFP and/or one or more of the dates listed above, and in such event, it will post a notice on its website at: http://www.usac.org/about/. Contractors are responsible for regularly checking the USAC website for notices concerning this procurement. USAC is not responsible for notifying any contractor of the existence of such notices or the results of a contractor failing to check the website to obtain such notices.
