Step 4: Sign a Contract for Service

Service providers and health care providers may enter into a contract after the 28-day posting requirement has been met.

It is the health care provider's responsibility to determine the most cost-effective service and select an eligible service provider before signing a contract. Health care providers that enter into an agreement before completion of the 28-day posting requirement are in violation of the FCC's competitive bidding rules for the Rural Health Care Program and will not receive support.
