2009 Service Provider Training Information (Phoenix)

Accommodations and Transportation

Hotel

  • Rooms are available for a discounted rate of $139 (single/double). The last day to reserve rooms at this discounted rate is April 20, 2009, so please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.
  • For hotel reservations, please call 602-333-5000 or 1-800-996-3426 and provide the group code Universal Service Administrative Company or USAC group.

Transportation
  • Valet parking is available at the hotel for $12 per day; overnight parking is $23.
  • Desert Coach Shuttle is available to and from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport for up $20 a person, one way. Please contact Desert Coach Shuttle directly at 602-286-6161 to arrange shuttle service and discuss rates.
  • Transportation to the hotel is also available via Light Rail, by taking a shuttle bus from the airport terminal to the Light Rail Station and taking the Light Rail downtown.  Exit the Light Rail at the "Washington and Central" stop, and the Wyndham Phoenix is one block away.

The theme for this year's service provider training is "How to Stay Out of a Jam." At the end of the E-rate sessions in Tampa and Phoenix, the Rural Health Care Division will discuss (via videoconference) updates in the Rural Health Care Pilot Program and answer questions. The agenda below highlights the topics that will be addressed at the service provider training.
